| Sometime in May, the winner of the third "I Want to Win the Book" Contest was selected. Gary Richardson was randomly hand-picked from a small group of entrants after he and several others successfully answered all five matching items for Contest #5. Photographer David Biggy supervised the drawing, while David's wonderful wife, Melissa, pulled the names from the pile. The book is tentatively titled "Beacons of the East" and will feature about 200 of David's photos of lighthouses from up and down the United States' East Coast. | Biggy's Harbor of Refuge Photo Lands in New Book This past fall, Graphic Arts Center Publishing Company published AMERICA: PORTRAIT OF OUR NATION. Dubbed by GACPC as a visual travelogue of unsurpassed beauty and depth, this book features one of David's Harbor of Refuge photos. Interestingly, Biggy's photo appears on a page facing a photo by famous nature photographer David Muench -- and is, without doubt, a highlight of his short photography career thus far.
